We are seeking qualified Associates to join our Federal Analytic & Forensic Technology - Computer Forensics practice:
Commercial investigations and litigations increasingly rely on collecting, preserving and analyzing vast amounts of data to help tell the whole story. The key to managing such huge volumes is turning the array of data into meaningful information. To this end, our Federal Analytic and Forensic Technology professionals combine forensic accounting and investigative skills with advanced technology to assist clients and their legal counsel.
With the ever increasing demands being put upon corporate law departments finding ways to maintain legal and regulatory compliance and to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their operations is critical to their success. Our Legal Business Consulting professionals understand the unique challenges corporate law departments face and can assist them in the following areas: litigation readiness, records management consulting, strategic and technology planning, performance management, organizational design, matter and content management, legacy data remediation analysis, and legal process outsourcing evaluation.
Analytic & Forensic Technology services include:
Claims administration
Computer forensics
Data analytics
Electronic discovery
Legal business consulting
Qualified Associates will have experience with the following:
Additional Experience/Qualifications:
- The ability to describe complex technical concepts and ideas to in non-technical terms
- Law enforcement or prior investigative experience is a plus
- Some business development or marketing skills or experience desired
- A strong finance, accounting or economics background is not required, but it is very helpful
- COMP TIA A+ Certification (certification required within 1 year from date of hire)
- BA/BS degree in Computer Forensics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with an IT emphasis preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Must be flexible with work schedule and travel requirements of client service projects
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Experience in a professional services firm preferred
- Secret/Top-Secret Clearance strongly desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential
LOCATION:
We are seeking Associates to join the AFT practice as part of our Computer Forensic group in Washington DC or Hermitage, TN.
TRAINING:
Deloitte provides and mandates regular and comprehensive internal and external training for all professional employees in technical topics and other disciplines to keep its employees as current and competitive as possible.
TRAVEL:
Joining our group means having the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, in a number of different industries, and in many different locations. Extensive travel within and outside the United States is often required; incoming professionals should expect at least 50% travel.
