Time Warner Cable currently has an opportunity for a Lead Inventory Coordinator for our Media Sales Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Essential Job Functions:
Review all orders for the region (hard stop)
Lead will work with Inventory Mgr and Sales to resolve any issues so order(s) can be processed into traffic system
Revise order to open nets
Bump rates to clear
Manage inventory for the region (work the logs) including but not limited to:
o Resolve all spots due to tech misses (no cue tone/low threshold)
o Resolve all spots that have been preempted
o Communicate daily to Sales all missed/preempted spots
o Coordinate with Inventory Mgr and Format team on all programming allocations
o Review future logs to identify any inventory issues
o Back-up for Inventory manager/Coordinators
o Train Inventory Coordinators when applicable
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory management reports.
Communicate effectively and clearly potential inventory issues and concerns to Sales and Traffic Management.
Monitor available inventory to avoid overselling.
Review future schedules on the key networks, dayparts and high profile programming for inventory utilization and communicate any concerns.
Advise sales personnel on possible pre-emptions upfront and help identify new or comparable avails to minimize revenue loss.
Provide Account Executives/Sales Management Makegood alternatives in a timely manner for contract fulfillment.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that works well with co-workers, supervisors and customers.
Develop new inventory reports to aid the department and sales
Schedule and load inventory reports into TIM
Learn sales systems to be able to support them throughout the order creation process
Become a resource to sales and transfer knowledge to sales personnel on which inventory tools are appropriate

Job Requirements:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
General sales knowledge and experience with analytical tools: Excel, Crystal Reports, Access

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
